Allyson K. Friedman, Ph.D.
Allyson received her undergraduate degree in biology from Barnard College at Columbia University and her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in the department of Pharmacology and System Therapeutics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her work explores the ionic and neural circuit mechanisms of susceptibility and resilience to major depressive disorder in order to identify novel targets for treatment.
Allyson started the lab in 2015 in the Department of Biology at Hunter College at the City University of New York.
Mary Regis Shanley, BS
Regis earned her BS in Neuroscience from Northeastern University and is currently a Ph.D candidate at the City University of New York Graduate Center.
Yuka is a graduate of Hokkaido University and is currently a Ph.D candidate at the City University of New York Graduate Center.
Rufina is a Biology major in Yalow Scholars Honors Program and a BP-Endure Trainee.
Ella is a Biology major at Macaulay Honors College.
Raisa Karim is a Biochemistry and Thomas Hunter Honors major. She is a BP ENDURE trainee in the Yalow Honors Scholars Program.
Amanda is a Biology major with a concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience in the Macaulay Honors program at Hunter College. She will be at the Marine Biology Laboratories at Woods Hole this summer participating in the MBL Research program. 2018 Undergraduate Research Fellowship
